المرحلة الاولي لعلاج بروز الأسنان العلوية نتيجة التباعد بين الفكين العلوى و السفلى الناتج عن تراجع الفك السفلى بإستخدام جهاز تقويم متحرك
بعد علاج بروز الأسنان و علاقة الضروس العلوية و السفلية تبدأ المرحلة الثانية باستخدام التقويم الثابت لترتيب الأسنان و تنسيق الفكين

First phase of treatment of class II malocclusion on class II skeletal base due to mandibular deficiency using Modified Twin block as a removable functional appliance for growth modification to harness forces generated by the oral and facial musculature to produce tooth movement to reduce overjet and correct molar relationship.
Functional phase can be followed by second phase of treatment using fixed appliance to align and coordinate both arches.

اللى فى الصورة دة حافظ مكان بيتركب فى حالة خلع ضرس لبنى قبل معاده عشان يحافظ على مكان الضرس الدائم و يمنع حركة الضروس اللى جنب الضرس المخلوع و بيكون فى متابعة دورية بانتظام و لما يبدأ الضرس الدائم يظهر يبقى دة معاد فك حافظ المكان 😊

Lower lip trap one of common features of class II malocclusion.
Normally the teeth erupt between the tongue on one side and lips and cheeks on the other, which is called a balance zone, if the balance of the forces exerted by these soft tissues is altered tooth movement can result.
Ideally, lower lip should lie adjacent and anterior to the middle third of the maxillary central incisors crowns at rest but this relationship may be altered in class II skeletal base due to antero-posterior discrepancy between maxilla and mandible which result in trapping of the lower lip behind upper incisors which contributes to increase proclination of upper incisors and increase overjet with increase risk of trauma to upper incisors
Correction of sagittal jaw relationship using functional appliance which significantly improve the soft tissue environment surrounding the dentition, eliminate lip trap and create lip competence is immediately indicated to eliminate risk of trauma particularly if there is a history of previous trauma.

أول ما تشوف الشكل دة.. يبقى دة معاد زيارة دكتور التقويم

لو بنتك أو ابنك أسنانه بارزة لدرجة إنها ظاهرة و هو قافل بوقه يبقى محتاج تدخل مبكر لأن البروز الكبير فى الأسنان بيخليها عرضة بشكل أكبر للكسر و عشان كدة بيتم التدخل باستخدام جهاز تقويم ثابت أو متحرك لتصحيح وضع الأسنان و دة بيقلل خطر اصابتها بالكسر و بيحسن كمان شكلها

How to manage early loss of primary teeth?

Early loss of primary teeth has a great impact on developing occlusion and the potential occlusal disruption can be influenced by tooth type
* Early loss of primary incisor has minimal effect on midline and no interceptive treatment needed
* Early loss of primary canine can lead to a midline shift toward the affected side in unilateral cases particularly in a crowded dentition so balancing extraction of contralateral canine is indicated
* Early loss of first primary molar can lead to space loss through forward movement of buccal segment and accentuate premolar crowding so space maintainer is indicated
* Early loss of second primary molar can lead to forward bodily movement of the first permanent molar if it is unerupted or tipping and rotation if it is erupted so space maintainer is indicated
