💤 What Can Your Child’s Face Tell You About Their Sleep?
Dark circles, an open-mouth resting posture, or frequent nasal congestion can have many causes. But when these signs happen along with snoring, restless sleep, dry mouth, or daytime tiredness, they may be worth paying attention to.
Every child is different, and these signs don’t automatically mean there’s a problem. However, if you notice them regularly, it’s worth discussing them with your child’s healthcare provider.
At Dentistry 4 Kidz, we care about more than little smiles we care about your child’s overall well-being, too! 🦷✨

👅 Tongue-Tie:What Parents Should Know
Many parents have never been shown what limited tongue movement can look like. A heart-shaped tongue or difficulty lifting the tongue can be clues, but appearance alone does not determine if a child has a tongue-tie.

What matters most is function.
How well can the tongue move? Where does it rest? How does it work during eating, swallowing, and speech?
A tongue-tie doesn’t always mean treatment is needed. Every child is different, and the best approach depends on their symptoms, function, and individual evaluation.

DENTAL FUN FACT!
Ever wonder what’s inside your tooth? Your tooth has different layers, and each one has an important job.
Enamel: protects your tooth
Dentin: supports the tooth
Pulp: contains nerves & blood vessels
Cementum & Ligament: help hold your tooth in place
Understanding your teeth is the first step toward taking better care of your smile!😁

See you at your next visit!🧚‍♂️
