A small story with a beautiful ending🌹
A young patient came in concerned about a white spot on tooth #21, which was affecting the balance of the smile. The lesion was developmental in origin, consistent with MIH (Molar Incisor Hypomineralization).
We began with at-home whitening using 16% carbamide peroxide to improve the overall shade and soften the contrast.
Then, using the ICON resin infiltration technique, we treated the white spot in a minimally invasive way—no drilling, no loss of healthy tooth structure.
