Sadly we, at maitland family dental, have to say goodbye to Dr. Christie Han. She has been an integral part of our team for the last 4 years. Her kindness and caring nature towards our patients and Wingham community is much appreciated and will be surely missed. We wish her the best in all her future endeavours.

A new chapter is beginning at Maitland Family Dental with our newest member of the dental team. We are very excited to announce that Dr. Josh Lee will be joining our practice starting on June 21. After months of searching for a new dentist who would be a good fit for our clinic and our community we are so pleased that Dr. Lee has accepted our offer to be part of our dental “family”.

By having Dr. Lee, we will be able to alleviate the backlog of our patients who are anxiously waiting to be seen. We can also offer night appointments again starting on July 5th. Please call our office to book your appointment if you have an urgent concern and we will be able to accommodate you much sooner. Thanks to our patients who have been patient and understanding while we navigate through the changes that we have to make.

Dr. Kaeley Hanna was born in London, Ontario and raised north of Lucknow at Silver Lake. She received her Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree with Honours at Wilfred Laurier University. Dr. Hanna then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with Distinction and Honours at the University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Dentistry. During her time at Western, she received the Academy of Dentistry for the Disabled award for high achievement in dental care for persons with disabilities. Dr. Hanna enjoys all aspects of dentistry but most of all interacting with her patients, especially children and seniors. She strives to alleviate pain and fear and prioritize the needs and wishes of her patients above all else. Dr. Hanna actively participates in many continuing education courses to constantly be improving her knowledge and skills. She is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health as a means to improve their overall quality of life.

During her time at Laurier, Dr. Hanna participated in a volunteer trip to Guatemala where she was able to educate patients and assist dentists to provide dental care to under serviced communities. Closer to home Dr. Hanna has volunteered at the Bervie Snowmobile club, coached a U6 children’s soccer team and has joined her local dental society.
Dr. Hanna feels very fortunate to have grown up in a small town and is excited to be able to serve Wingham and the surrounding communities! She is committed to providing the best care possible to her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys being with friends and family, playing games, and spending lots of time outside enjoying nature.
