Three and a half years ago, I went out for a walk and unknowingly stepped into the beginning of the greatest chapter of my life. That day, I met and somehow, in one spontaneous moment, I found the woman of my dreams.

Since then, we’ve built a relationship full of love, laughter, and resilience. Through long-distance weeks apart me in Chicago pursuing my dream at , and Chantel back home pursuing her dreams she has supported me endlessly day in and day out!

I wouldn’t be where I am or who I am without her. Her strength, her belief in us, and her love are the foundation of everything I’ve accomplished.

This weekend, I asked her to marry me and no surprise she said YES!!

What made the moment even more unforgettable was being surrounded by our families and closest friends. Seeing Chantel’s surprise and joy with the people we love most there to celebrate with us... it was perfect.

A huge thank you to my family & friends for helping me pull off the surprise of a lifetime I’ll never forget what it meant to have you there.

I’m beyond grateful, still in awe, and so excited for what comes next. Here’s to forever with the love of my life. ❤️

“You’re Only As Good As Your Next Denture!” Unfortunately people struggle to accept and adapt to tooth loss, but evidence suggests edentulous patients are willing to work with oral health professionals to improve their outcomes. Creating functional, comfortable dentures requires careful custom planning and consideration of clinical, anatomical, physiological, technical, and psychosocial factors. Unfortunately, many dental professionals currently relegate complete dentures to second-choice status. This mindset must evolve, I see things very differently as do many colleagues. It is imperative that we create When looking at the way in which to treat edentulous patients there are various workflows that can be considered to provide complete removeable prosthodontic rehabilitation. It is important to consider and understand that no one workflow is demanded and rehabilitating edentulous patients can be very challenging and at times disheartening. However you are only as good as your next denture! Therefore when we evaluate this existing situation presented in front of us we can see a vast majority of deficiencies present. Increased OVD, Canted occlusal plane, Insufficient buccal corridor, non harmonious facial midline, tooth mould with (soft / oval) characteristics. One does not need to read a textbook to understand that most people are attracted to smiling faces “A smile is contagious” may seem like a trite axiom, but a growing body of evidence confirms what many have long suspected: regular exposure to smiling faces stimulates the brain in ways that improve mood and even correlate with positive long-term health outcomes like a reduction in all-causes mortality. However when a smile is not proportionate, when a smile is deficient in it’s golden proportions it may have the reverse affect and not only to the beholder but to those around them. Can we however utilized all of this information with judicious precision and efficacy? The Answer is YES and it lies within the reference denture technique.
Remember you’re only as good as your NEXT denture!

It is difficult to paint a complete picture of human happiness without addressing food. It seems obvious to state humans need teeth to eat food, allowing them to ingest the energy and nutrients they need to survive, let alone live healthily, but this is less true than you might think. Ultimately, denture care is elective: patients have the option of simply not accessing it at all. Moreover, eating without teeth can be dangerous. Many oral health professionals have heard stories of patients who own dentures but do not necessarily wear them. Pieces of solid food not sufficiently macerated can become stuck in either the esophagus or trachea during swallowing.

But yet so many patients go untreated or receive removable prosthetics therapy that is noticed! When our mouths are functional and free of discomfort, we feel healthier overall!

It is essential to create movement to ensure that this “elective” treatment become a standard of care in removable prosthodontic therapy & rehabilitation to create removable unnoticed!

Imagine tomorrow you you LOST YOUR TEETH! Edentulous people suffer psychologically and socially in ways that are obvious and ways that are easy to miss. A growing body of peer-reviewed literature associates edentulism with psychological and social conditions above and beyond its well-understood effect on what we call physical health. Edentulous people tend to retreat from typical social patterns and struggle with confidence and self-concept! How do you expect you would feel? In what ways would your life change? And, ultimately, what would you do about it?

In this vain we must continue to create movement surrounding removable prosthodontic therapy & rehabilitation to create removable unnoticed!
