Do you wake up with pain in your jaw?
Book an appointment with us to see if you should be wearing a night guard. The most common reason our clients need to wear a night guard while sleeping is because they are grinding their teeth. If your teeth grinding happens occasionally, it may not be a concern. However, if it is persistent, it can cause broken teeth, loss of enamel, and sometimes tooth loss. In most cases, nightly grinding can be corrected with a night guard. A night guard puts a barrier between your teeth, so that tension is softened. Then, in the morning you wake up without pain and damage to your teeth.
If you are waking up with jaw pain, schedule an appointment with us to figure out if you are grinding your teeth together while asleep. We want to make sure your teeth don’t suffer any more damage by bruxism, so contact us at (905) 576-0123 or email our clinic at [email protected] to schedule an appointment.
