A Milestone at Wakaw Dental! 🦷✨
We’re excited to celebrate a special milestone here at Wakaw Dental — we placed our first dental implant right here in our office! 🎉 While our team has experience placing dental implants, this was the first implant procedure performed in-office at Wakaw Dental, making it an exciting step forward for our practice and, most importantly, for our patients.
🦷 Dental implants are a great option for replacing missing teeth and restoring both function and confidence. We’re so proud of our team and grateful to our patient for trusting us with this exciting milestone! 💙

Scotland: supervision
Scotland runs supervised toothbrushing in nurseries across the country as a national program. Every child brushes at school, every day, with someone watching technique. Cavity rates in Scottish kids have dropped since it launched. You have to brush and floss your child’s teeth until they gain the proper coordination to do it effectively themselves—that’s usually eight years old (or older!)
