Our staff here at Vulcan Dental have some very exciting news to share!

Please give a warm welcome to our newest team member, Dr. Scott Thordarson! Who will be joining our clinic next Month working FRIDAYS! 😁

Dr.Thordarson has been practicing full time dentistry for 35 years. He graduated from University of Toronto. After graduating he practiced in a small northern Ontario town for 2 years before moving to BC. There he practiced in Nelson & Midway then Grand Forks. Scott and his wife Rose owned a small ranch near Rock Creek BC where they raised cattle and sheep. He was referred to as “The cowboy dentist” he also hosted and participated in amateur cattle penning. They also volunteered at the Rock Creek fair, managing the arena events and conducted 3 pro rodeo events at the fair.

Dr.Thordarson and his wife Rose have recently purchased an acreage near Brant where they will be raising sheep and enjoying semi-retirement.

Dr.Thordarson enjoys all aspects of dentistry and the challenges that come with it. He completed an extensive orthodontic continuing education course which he used to help many of his patients improve their smiles. He works great with kids and has helped many patients with new dentures or replacing old worn ones.

We are very excited to have him be apart of the Vulcan Dental team!

Our team here at Vulcan Dental hopes everyone had a great Easter weekend! Our office will be closed Wednesday and Thursday this week. We will have staff in answering phones Monday and Tuesday if you need to make an appointment. Our office will return to regular hours Monday next week. We appreciate your understanding, have a great week! 😊

Good morning! We wanted to give everyone a heads up that our office will be closed Wednesday and Thursday in lieu of family week! We will have staff in the office Monday and Tuesday answering phone calls. We hope everyone has an amazing family week, and we will be back to our regular scheduled hours next week! ☺️🦷

Hello everyone!

Vulcan Dental will be closed December 24th, re opening January 5th, we will have someone periodically checking voicemail messages over the holidays.
