While electric toothbrushes have flashy features that can make it easier for people to clean their teeth — like timers, pressure sensors, and oscillating bristles — the reality is that you can get your teeth just as clean if you’re using a manual toothbrush effectively.

A toothbrush is a personal choice, so the right one for you is the one you feel comfortable using twice a day to scrub away bacteria and maintain good oral hygiene.

If you have questions, be sure to chat with us at your next appointment.

My tooth stopped hurting... do I still need to come in? 🦷

Short answer: Yes!

When a toothache suddenly disappears, it usually means the nerve inside has died—not that the issue went away. Decay or underlying infection can quietly continue beneath the surface.

Don't wait for the pain to come back! Give us a call 🌊✨

What are shark teeth? Shark teeth refer to a child having two rows of teeth in their mouth: the original primary teeth (baby teeth) and the incoming permanent teeth. If your child is experiencing this, give us a call, and we’ll take a look to make sure your child’s teeth are growing in properly.

Tomorrow, September 30, our doors will be closed as we observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. 🧡

This day originated from the story of Phyllis Webstad, a six-year-old girl whose new orange shirt was taken away on her first day of residential school in 1973. Today, the orange shirt serves as a visual symbol to remember that every child matters and that cultural identity should be protected and celebrated.

We encourage everyone to take a moment tomorrow to learn more about this history.

We look forward to welcoming you back during normal business hours on October 1st

🦷 CDCP FAQ: Does my coverage automatically renew?

If you’ve been approved for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), remember that your coverage needs to be renewed each year.

📅 Renew on time: Your coverage can continue without interruption into the next benefit year.

⏰ Missed the renewal deadline? You can re-apply, but you may have a gap in coverage while your new application is being processed. Dental care received during that gap won’t be covered or reimbursed retroactively.

Your CDCP benefit year runs from July 1 – June 30.

💙 A good reminder to check your CDCP status before your next appointment and make sure your information is up to date.

Questions about your coverage? We’re happy to help you understand what information to check before your visit!

For the most up-to-date CDCP information, visit Canada.ca.
