I lived and trained at CFB Wainwright many summers and winters. I have many amazing memories and tearful eyes from the time there and the incident as of yesterday!

This hits home as when we join the Canadian Forces to serve our country we do it from the heart and sense of duty ... many don't come back alive, or if they do suffer from PTSD! The fortunate walk away and retire with many fond memories of the time in and the people who shaped their trajectory!

I am fortunate not because of me, but those who served and taught me, saw a spark in my eye and made me who I am today!

Lest we forget how important our military is not only in our security but developing your citizens who answer the call of duty!!

My thoughts and prayers are with the young fallen solders who were just at the beginnings of their careers and all the family that will miss them! May God bless their souls and protect their families!

Lest we forget!
