We are pleased to welcome Dr. Devin Jones to Fernwood Dental!

Devin joins our office with over a decade of clinical experience. His portfolio of experiences includes serving as an instructor for the dental residency program at UBC, providing hospital-based care to medically compromised and special needs patients, and travelling to provide care in under-serviced areas in northern BC.

Devin was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario but as a keen outdoorsman, British Columbia now feels like home. Devin enjoys music, camping, hockey, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, snowboarding and ski touring, and is excited to pursue these activities on the island!

We are pleased to announce that we have now reopened for hygiene services in addition to other dental care!

If you had an appointment that was cancelled due to our COVID-19 closure and you would like to reschedule, please give us a call at 250-384-2043. We will do our best to get everyone seen as soon as possible.

We look forward to welcoming you back!

We are pleased to announce that we are now open for urgent and emergency care.

We will slowly introduce hygiene services in mid-June, prioritizing our patients whose hygiene appointments we had to cancel during our 10 week closure, and those with advanced gum disease.

As we can only see a limited number of patients with physical distancing guidelines in place, we appreciate your patience as we play "catch up" from our 10-week closure.

Thank you!

COVID-19 UPDATE:

This week, Premier Horgan announced that dental offices may reopen in the near future. We continue to await reopening guidelines from the College of Dental Surgeons of BC.

We envision a soft opening in late May or early June, when we will see a few patients per day to minimize the number of people in the office at any given time. Patients who have suffered dental emergencies over the last few weeks will be prioritized.

Stay well - we look forward to seeing you soon!
