A pleasure to have Mr. Don Davies MP trust our office for his dental care. He has been the driving force to convince the federal government to establish the Canadian Dental Care Program. Don has advocated for our community and all Canadians on many issues including affordable housing, universal pharmacare, climate change, and many others. Thank you Don for walking the talk!

This year’s Staff Event was to watch a good ole ballgame. Nat Bailey Stadium was built in 1951 and is known to be the most beautiful minor league ball park in North America. Home to the Vancouver Canadians who are affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays.

The MVPs for the game must be our staff who proudly wore our new baseball shirts in the 28 degree heat. Cold drinks and stadium food kept us comfortable. The traditional Chicken Dance and Seven Inning Stretch were new to some first timers. Unfortunately our home team lost but we had a good time overall.

Congratulations to Donna, our hygienist. She has been elected to the Canadian Dental Hygienist Association Board of Directors. Donna returned to our team after working several years in the high Arctic as an Oral Health Specialist. She is also a clinical instructor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry and she is actively involved with the BCDHA. We are very fortunate to have her be a part of our experienced hygiene department which provides caring and high quality service to our patients.
