How fast does a gum graft heal?

This photo shows healing 2 weeks after tissue was taken from the palate as a donor site. According to the patient, she’s had no issues with eating or chewingβ€”easy peasy

This is a typical healing outcome, and in some few patients, the donor site is barely even visible by this point.

Every case is different, but with proper care, healing can be quicker and more comfortable than you might expect.
