Cracked Tooth? Don't Wait on It 🦷

A cracked tooth doesn't always announce itself with obvious pain. Sometimes it's a sharp twinge when you bite, lingering temperature sensitivity, or discomfort that comes and goes.

Over time, cracks can extend toward the root, making treatment more complex the longer they're left. An early assessment from an endodontist can determine how far the crack goes and what your best options are.

Kits Endo is here for Vancouver patients who need answers.

How Do You Know If You Need an Endodontist? 🔍

Your general dentist will typically refer you when a tooth has deep decay, infection, or damage that affects the inner pulp. But there are signs worth knowing:

— Lingering sensitivity to hot or cold
— Sharp pain when biting or chewing
— Swelling or tenderness near a tooth
— Darkening of a tooth

If any of these sound familiar, it's worth getting checked out sooner rather than later. Kits Endo is here to help.

What Happens During a Root Canal? 🦷

"Root canal" is one of the most misunderstood phrases in dentistry. Here's what actually happens:

The procedure removes infected or damaged tissue from inside the tooth, cleans and shapes the canal, and seals it to prevent reinfection.
The tooth is then restored — and in most cases, it can last a lifetime.
The goal is always to save your natural tooth, and modern endodontic treatment makes that possible in the vast majority of cases.

Kits Endo is here to answer your questions and put your mind at ease. 💙

Why See an Endodontist? 🦷

Your general dentist is exceptional at keeping your smile healthy — but when it comes to the inner structures of your teeth, an endodontist brings a deeper level of specialized training.

Endodontists complete additional years of schooling focused entirely on diagnosing tooth pain and treating the inside of the tooth. That specialization matters when the stakes are high.

At Kits Endo, we work closely with your referring dentist to make sure your care is seamless from start to finish.

Root Canals Aren't What They Used to Be 😌

If the words "root canal" make you nervous, you're not alone. But here's the truth — modern root canal treatment is nothing like the reputation it carries.

With today's techniques and technology, most patients find the procedure far more comfortable than they expected. Many tell us it felt no worse than getting a filling.

At Kits Endo, we take the time to explain every step, answer every question, and make sure you feel calm and confident before we begin. You're in good hands.
