She came in asking for 10 veneers. We did 6.

Her goals were a wider, brighter smile, less crowding, and a smaller gummy smile. Since her upper front teeth were already straight and healthy, we left them untouched.

With Invisalign, whitening, Botox, and 6 prepless porcelain veneers, we achieved the changes she wanted while preserving her natural teeth.

Can changing the alignment and shape of teeth really change a smile? Absolutely.

This patient already had healthy teeth and a good foundation to work with. After just 5 months of Invisalign we improved the alignment and created space for two prepless feldspathic porcelain veneers. We finished with in-office whitening.

Sometimes, less really is more. The goal is to do only what’s needed to make the biggest difference, while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible.

Minimal treatment. Maximum enhancement.

After more than 40 years in dentistry, I’ve learned that predictable aesthetic dentistry doesn’t begin with the final restoration, it begins with understanding the case and having a clear plan. This October, I’m bringing Functional Anterior Esthetics 1 to Toronto with ProArt Dental Laboratory.

I’ll be teaching this course in Toronto and sharing the approach I’ve developed throughout my career, from diagnosis and smile analysis to photography, digital smile design, treatment planning, and case presentation. I’ve spent more than 40 years in dentistry, and one thing I continue to believe is that good aesthetic dentistry starts with good planning.

I’m excited to bring "Functional Anterior Esthetics 1" to Toronto with Pro-Art Dental Laboratory this October. This will be my first time teaching this course in Toronto, and I’m looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned over the years with dentists who want to build their confidence in aesthetic & cosmetic dentistry.

We’ll start with the fundamentals and work through diagnosis, smile analysis, photography, digital smile design, treatment planning, and case presentation with a focus on creating a clear, predictable approach to anterior aesthetic cases.

My goal is simple: to share the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over four decades and give you a framework you can take back to your practice.

Dr. Bobby Birdi and I spent this weekend Seattle Study Club Directors & Coordinators Summit, connecting with fellow directors, sharing ideas, and bringing some new ones home for our Vancouver Study Club! A closer look at this conservative smile enhancement ✨

Bonded lateral composite veneers following crown-lengthening osseous surgery on #12, #13, and #14. The goal was to create a more balanced smile while keeping the approach as minimally invasive as possible.

Invisalign is planned to further optimize the alignment after her wedding this fall. For now, a beautiful step toward her wedding smile with conservative cosmetic dentistry. 🤍

A conservative smile transformation for a young man in his early 30s who wanted to improve the shape, color, and proportions of his smile before a summer filled with weddings.

After in-office GLO whitening, we internally bleached tooth #11 and placed an opaque e.max coping to mask the underlying discoloration. The final result included prepless feldspathic veneers on teeth #12–15 and #21–24, along with a feldspathic veneer on #11 over the e.max coping.

Conservative dentistry, minimal preparation, and a natural-looking smile transformation. ✨🤍
