This amazing 9 year old worked very hard with her myofunctional therapist to prepare her for tongue tie release. You can see in the before video that her tongue had some trouble elevating and when she did lift it, the whole floor of mouth elevated with the tongue. That gets pretty tiring! After the laser tongue tie release, her tongue was able to lift all the way up with ease while keeping her mouth open much wider than before! She still has to work to keep this range of motion and mobility but she’s well on her way to better function!
