Freehand composite veneers to correct a peg lateral and asymmetry at dental studio in Toronto. It’s amazing how even the smallest details make a incredible difference.

This lovely patient completed her orthodontist treatment and had bonding place on her upper left lateral incisor (22) with her previous dentist. She was unhappy with the aesthetics and she noticed that it was starting to chip. Freehand composite veneers were crafted on both upper lateral incisors using a combination of 🇺🇸 & 🇯🇵 composite resin and finished using 🇨🇦 ASAP polishers and 🇮🇹 Lucida polishing paste from 🇨🇦

At we make accidents unhappen at our Toronto dental studio.

An unfortunately accident led to the fracture of this patient’s previously root canal treated right central incisor. As always we present all the options to the patient including orthodontic treatment () to correct the crowding and alignment of his teeth. At this time patient only wanted to fix the anterior teeth. Zoom Whitening () and handcrafted ceramics () by our friends at were designed and crafted to rehabilitate this patients smile.

It’s always a challenge when asymmetry exist and we are not correcting it with orthodontics. The ultimate question is, do we match the contralateral asymmetry or do we create the idea aesthetics. That’s where we get the patient involved and have a discussion with them. At the end of the day as dentist we are PARTNERS with them on their journey to achieving a healthy beautiful smile for a lifetime.

we invest the time to explain to patients that oral hygiene is critical especially during orthodontic treatment. This patient presented at our dental studio after she noticed chalky white discolouration around her braces with her orthodontist. Decalcification and active decay was found around the orthodontic brackets. A discussion was had with the orthodontist to have the brackets removed in order to restore the teeth utilizing filtek supreme composite resin. Case was polished using ASAP polisher and Enamelize.

Smile transformation with 8 minimally invasive porcelain veneers to maximize aesthetics while at the same time respecting nature and biology.

The patient wanted her old bonding removed that was worn and stained and replaced with something to give her a more natural result.

The thin shells of porcelain no thicker than 0.5mm crafted by the ceramist at my lab were so beautifully delicate. They mimicked the direct mock up that the patient gave a "test drive" to ensure she would be happy with the aesthetics, phonetics and function.

The conservation of tooth to ENHANCE nature not REPLACE it truly fascinates me.
