Dry mouth isn’t just uncomfortable, it can affect your oral health too. 💧🦷

Saliva helps wash away food, neutralize acids and protect your teeth. When your mouth stays dry, plaque and bacteria can build up more easily.

Common causes can include dehydration, certain medications, mouth breathing, stress and some health conditions.

Try sipping water regularly, chewing sugar-free gum, and if the dryness keeps coming back, mention it at your next dental visit.

Every story has a beginning. Ours started more than 20 years ago along Toronto’s waterfront. 💙

Founded by friends and fellow dentists Dr. Hammad Afif and Dr. Angelo Poulos, Waterview Dental was built on a shared commitment to dependable, modern and patient-centred care.

That foundation eventually grew into the View Dental network we know today, but Waterview will always hold a special place as our founding and flagship clinic.
