When ._bo_huang_ and I were teaching the Tips and Tricks on Crowns, we noticed the participants had so many questions on posts and cores. We felt we needed a dedicated course on this topic and so Dr. Huang put together an amazing two day course. We had help from endodontist and amazing support from on the hands on portion. The course was full again...had to sneak another one last monute.

I am really proud to see how this unfolded. It was always rewarding have happy participants thank us for another great course. As always we had a great team from .uoft.

Thank you again for allowing me to be part of this amazing experience.

People have been asking me for a complete denture course for two years. It is finally here. Register before it's too late.

If you loved my partial denture refresher course, it will be structured very similarly with bonus information on digital dentures.

There is a mandatory core 1 Course that is paired with this course if you haven't taken it yet

Last month I was invited by to present a core 1 course to a group of amazing dentists during March Break. I took my family along and had the most amazing time on the cruise. It was so relaxing to be talking dentistry on a cruise ship. It elevates the learning experience for the participants like no others. You are not rushed to go home or to go back to your practice. Your family is right here enjoying every minute alongside with you. I recommend all dentists considering these type travel CEs. You need to plan ahead so start looking at what has to offer. She invites the best speakers....I happen to know many of them. Plan now and thank me later!

It was a great day of learning from Dr.Joseph Kan.
Thank you Ontario Society of Periodontists for inviting us to attend your Spring Scientific meeting. It was great to see many prosthodontists from Ontario coming out to supporting this event.

As the president of the APO, I am glad to have helped coordinate this event.
Looking forward to more future events like this one.

Enjoyed spending my Saturday learning the exocad software on how to integrate full arch implant therapy in practice. I am very grateful that has recommended this course to me. I have been looking for something like this locally and so grateful to be able to take this course. It was great also to bump into my prostho colleagues. Thank you for bringing this course to Toronto. I have really enjoyed it. .nobelbiocare

Five years ago I was asked to develop a certification course for the prosthetic aspect of implant dentistry. I built this course from scratch with a vision to help general dentists on understanding and delivering this part of implant dentistry. I stood in front of to present my ideas and all the lab work to support this course.

They don't know anything about me. I dont know anything about them. I still remember their faces...looking at one another and they thought i was crazy to ask for all this. It was a lot of work...it sure was but they didn't say no! They supported my ideas and since then this course took off and have been running successfully twice a year ever since.

Today I want to say thanks again to for supporting my vision.

I finished this anterior implant case awhile ago and really appreciated how nice this patient has been. This case needed some initial bonding managed by my colleague and endodontic treatment by

Losing a front tooth can be quite traumatic for some people and as a prosthodontist I am used to seeing this type of anxiety manifested as difficult behavior. But this one is so easy going and made my life so much easier. I am so grateful to have him as my patient.

Last year I made a donation to name a Simlab station to support the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. This week I received the pictures that the plaque with my name has been placed. I chose to put it at the very station where I was assigned as a dental student. This served as a reminder to myself where my career in dentistry began.

To be an effective educator, I believe I have to constantly remind myself what it was like to be a student learning and listening to dentistry for the first time. I believe this is the place where foundations are built and where students are inspired and challenged to becoming the best dentists they can be.

I am always grateful to have this opportunity to influence this part of their dental training.

Check out this reference letter from my program director 21 years ago

I have always wanted to teach. This was a letter I got from Dr. Ismail to apply to a teaching position at . At the time, I just moved back to Toronto from Pittsburgh. I didn't want to move again from home so I didn't take the position and went into private practice instead.

It was really a time I wasn't sure what the future held for me. I bought a practice and got busy with a family. But I always felt a void because I wanted to teach.

Many years later I was asked if i wanted to teach at my own alma mater . Needless to say I have been doing that for 8 years now. I am grateful everyday for this opportunity.

Honestly this journey actually made me a better educator. Because I have so much more clinical experience now, so I teach in a way that is not out of a textbook but rather from my head how I think the information should be presented for the best learning outcome. Thank you for the opportunity.
