With more than 10 years experience in dentistry, Ina is passionate about providing exceptional care while making patient experience a top priority. Ina strongly believes great dentistry goes beyond clinical care. It’s about creating a welcoming experience where patients feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their treatment.
Outside of dentistry, she loves:
✈️ travelling,
🍽️ trying new restaurants,
🍃 and making time for the things that bring balance and joy to life.
Alexandra’s journey in dentistry began in 1998, when she graduated from George Brown College as a Dental Assistant.
After working in the field for eight years, she knew she wanted to take her passion for patient care and oral health even further. In 2010, she graduated from The Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries as a Registered Dental Hygienist, and in 2013, she completed additional training in orthodontics at George Brown College.
What Alexandra loves most about dental hygiene is education. For her, an appointment is about much more than simply “cleaning teeth.” She loves helping her patients understand the bacteria and conditions affecting their mouths, how to maintain healthy gums, and most importantly, how to prevent problems before they begin.
She has a particular interest in oral pathology and takes pride in looking beyond the teeth—paying close attention to the gums, tongue, cheeks and other oral tissues as part of caring for the overall health of her patients.
Her favourite part of her job is seeing a patient progress to a healthier, more comfortable mouth and knowing they leave with a better understanding of how to maintain it.
Outside the dental office, Alexandra is a lifelong Snoopy fan, a hardcore camper (it’s a family tradition!), and happiest spending time with her family and her beloved Shih Tzu, Mü—affectionately known as her “chunky girl.” 🐾
