A natural smile transformation with carefully customized details from start to finish ✨

This patient came to us with severely worn and discoloured teeth, along with incomplete eruption that made her teeth appear much shorter than they truly were.

To create a natural, balanced result, we:
🦷 Recontoured the gums to reveal the full length of her teeth
🦷 Took digital impressions for precise planning
🦷 Placed 7 full-contour zirconia crowns
🦷 Completed custom chairside staining for a beautifully natural shade
🦷 Provided a custom night guard to help protect her new smile

The goal was never an artificial-looking result - just a healthy, refreshed smile that still feels like her.

2025: A Year in Review at Humewood Dental 🤍

This past year has been an important one for our Humewood Dental family. We were grateful to welcome many new patients and, with that growth, made a few meaningful updates along the way:

✨Dr. Herblum expanded his hours

✨We added an additional operatory (bringing us to four fully equipped spaces!)

✨We increased our hygiene availability to better serve our community

✨We also saw a growing number of patients accessing care through the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), helping more individuals and families receive dental care while reducing out-of-pocket costs.

We are truly thankful to our patients for your trust, referrals, and kind Google reviews — your support means everything to us.

As we look ahead to 2026, our commitment remains the same: providing thoughtful, personalized care for you and your families.

Hi 🤚it’s Dr. Ryan Herblum. I am the practice owner and dentist at Humewood Dental and it’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself here.

📚I graduated from U of T dental school and then did an extra year of training in a residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital.

🪥I’m passionate about dentistry and oral health care and am committed to evidence based dentistry and high quality dental care. I take a personalized approach and love getting to know each and every patient.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 When I’m not practicing dentistry you can find me with my wife and two kids, playing hockey, tennis, cycling,enjoying the outdoors 🛶⛺️, and lately playing a lot of soccer with my kids ⚽️

🇨🇦At Humewood Dental, we pride ourselves on being a Canadian run, neighbourhood family dental office. As the practice owner and primary dentist, I have loved being part of this Hillcrest Village community and getting to know so many of the residents and local businesses.
