“Brushed twice” — still not enough?

If you’re not flossing, you’re missing more than 1/3 of your tooth surface. That plaque hiding between teeth is exactly where gum disease starts.

Here’s our simple routine:
Floss at least once a day.
Then brush at a 45° angle at the gumline with gentle circles for 2–3 minutes.

Need help making it feel doable (especially with kids or busy schedules)? We’ll show you what to focus on—no judgment, just comfort and clear guidance.

“I brushed, so my teeth are fine.”

We hear it all the time—and then we see the plaque hiding right where floss reaches: along the gumline and between teeth. If you’re not flossing, you’re missing more than 1/3 of your tooth surface.

At home, keep it simple:
Brush at least twice a day with gentle 45° circles along the gumline.
Replace your toothbrush every 3 months.
Floss at least once daily.

A quick reminder from our team: use gentle circles, not scrubbing—brushing too hard can irritate your gums.

That spot between your teeth that never gets brushed? That’s where plaque sets up shop.

We see it all the time: brushing 2x/day is great, but if you’re skipping flossing, you’re missing more than 1/3 of your tooth surface—exactly where bacteria can lead to gum disease and decay.

Quick technique we recommend:
Use a soft brush and hold it at a 45° angle.
Use gentle circles (not scrubbing).
Floss at least once daily—watch TV if it helps.

Your toothbrush is working… but your gums still feel it.

We see it all the time: people brush twice a day, but the bristles never really meet the gumline. Try this instead—45° at the gumline with gentle circles for 2–3 minutes. Clean the cheek side, tongue side, and the top surfaces too.

Then floss. Not “whenever.” Every day. If you don’t floss, you’re missing more than 1/3 of your tooth surface. Slide floss under the gumline in a “C” shape and wipe base-to-tip on both sides of every tooth.

“We brush… so why does floss feel like extra?”

Because your toothbrush can’t reach more than 1/3 of your tooth surfaces. That’s where plaque and bacteria hide—right along the gumline and between teeth.

Here’s the simple routine that makes the biggest difference:
Brush twice a day for 2–3 minutes.
Use a soft brush and a 45° angle—gentle circles, don’t scrub.
Floss at least once daily to clean where brushing can’t.

If you’re not flossing, you’re missing more than 1/3 of your tooth surface (and your gums notice).

Brush twice a day, and still feel like something’s “off”? It usually isn’t your toothbrush—it’s the spots it can’t reach.

We see it all the time: gentle, 45° angles at the gumline, soft rounded bristles, and 2–3 minutes of brushing with slow, kind circles. Then add floss at least once daily—without it, you’re missing more than 1/3 of your tooth surface.

Need a quick reset? Do both tonight: brush well, floss all the way around each tooth (and yes—backs of the last molars matter).

Skipping floss feels harmless—until we check and see plaque hiding where your toothbrush can’t reach.

We tell families this a lot: brush twice a day for 2–3 minutes with a soft brush at a 45° angle (gentle circles at the gumline, not scrubbing). And floss at least once daily—if you’re not flossing, I/ you’re missing more than 1/3 of your tooth surface.

If your gums bleed when you brush, it’s not “normal”—it’s often the pressure.

We see it a lot: people scrub hard, aiming for “clean,” but the right way is softer. Use a soft brush, place bristles at a 45° angle where gums meet teeth, and use gentle circles (no scrubbing). A thorough brush takes 2–3 minutes.

Then floss once daily. If you skip it, you’re missing more than 1/3 of your tooth surface—those plaque spots a toothbrush can’t reach.
