To Our Patients,
We are happy to let you know we are able to once again provide dental care! The Ministry of Health has lifted the restrictions placed back in March. In order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future, we have made some changes.
We have also made several improvements to the clinic including:
• Medical air filters in every room
• A new dental vacuum system to more effectively evacuate any aerosols that may be generated during procedures.
We have also updated some protocols. Here are some things to expect:
• We will ask you screening questions before your appointment and you’ll be asked those same questions again when you’re in the office.
• You will be encouraged to wait outside our office and call us when you arrive.
• Everyone attending the clinic will be asked to wear a facemask (we have masks if you do not).
• When you enter the clinic we will take your temperature and give you use hand sanitizer to use.
• Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines or children’s toys since those items are difficult to fully disinfect.
• Appointments will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing between patients. That might mean less availability, but it will also reduce the number of patients in the reception area.
• We are going to be wearing more protective gear. Do not be surprised to see us in scrubs, masks, respirators, face shields, and gowns.
• We cannot accommodate walk-in patients at this time.
These procedures and upgrades are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients, and our team. We look forward to seeing you again. If you have any questions, please let us know.
