Connective tissue graft to obtain root coverage and for phenotype modification on severe Miller Class III (RT2) gingival recession defects. I find the lower anterior area to be one of the most challenging areas when it comes to soft tissue grafting due extremely thin tissue combined with shallow vestibule present in most cases. Post-op photo is after 1 year.

Complete root coverage achieved on the lingual surface of the lateral incisor. Pt had orthodontic treatment done and there was a large dehiscence on the lingual aspect due to the position of the root. However, it's important to note that not all orthodontic treatment will cause recession. In fact, many orthodontic treatments can actually help prevent recession by properly aligning the teeth.

Class 2 furcation closure with connective tissue graft and enamel matrix derivative. Case selection is very important in these cases to achieve predictable results.
