Sometimes the signs that a child could benefit from orthodontic treatment are more subtle than noticeably crooked teeth. Here are some common signs that should not be overlooked:

-Early or late loss of baby teeth
-Difficulty chewing or biting
-Mouth breathing
-Jaw clicking or shifting
-Teeth that do not line up properly when biting down
-Crowded or overlapping teeth
-Adult teeth coming in behind baby teeth (otherwise known as “shark teeth”)
