Dr. Daniel Foster graduated from Dalhousie University in 2014 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Dr. Foster has gained extensive experience by having the opportunity to work with Dr. Joseph Westhaver, Dr. Ron Chafe, Dr. Katie Muise and Dr. Louise MacLeod in the past 1 ½ years. Dr. Foster has now purchased Dr. Joe Westhaver’s practice and has taken over care of Dr. Westhaver’s patients and is welcoming new patients to his practice. Dr. Daniel Foster performs all aspects of general dentistry including: fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals, dentures, invisalign and has advanced training in implants. Dr. Daniel Foster also has a wonderful and experienced staff to welcome you and provide professional service.

Applications for the 2026-2027 benefit year open today, June 2nd, 2026! If you haven't applied yet, now is the time to check out your eligibility and submit and application.

If you're an existing member and missed the renewal deadline (June 1st 2026), you will have to reapply!

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) helps eligible Canadians access more affordable dental treatment — we’re happy to accept CDCP patients and welcome new patients to our office! Eligible Canadians of all ages can apply.

You may qualify if you:
• Don’t have private dental insurance
• Have a household income under $90,000
• Are a Canadian resident for tax purposes
• Filed your most recent tax return

Coverage amounts depend on your income.

Dr. Foster is now offering Botox!

Botox can be used for therapeutic and cosmetic treatments. Therapeutically botox can be used to treat TMJ pain associated with clenching and grinding, as well as tension headaches. Cosmetic treatments include brow lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet.

Currently offering botox at $8 per unit.

The number of botox units varies per person, but below is on average how many units are required per treatment area:

- TMJ 90 to 120 units
- Glabella (between eyebrows) 30 – 40 units
- Crows feet 15-30 units
- Forehead 10-18 units.
