5 Star Review for Riverside Heights Dental.

My family and I have been with Riverside Heights Dental for over 45 years. We were originally patients of Dr. Greg Marasa’s parents and have transitioned to him as our primary dental professional.

We are delighted to say that we always receive excellent and compassionate care. The same welcoming spirit is exhibited by the office staff, hygienists and from Dr. Greg Marasa. They have responded quickly to any oral emergency, listened to any concerns and provided exactly what we needed for ongoing oral health. To be honest, this practise feels like family as we are always made to feel comfortable, listened to and responded to with attention and respect. I recommend this practise without reservation.

Dear valued Patients,

The Canadian Dental Plan program for eligible seniors starts in May and children under 18 in June 2024. The intention is that WE WILL more than likely be signing up for the plan at some point shortly. We are currently NOT registered because the BC Dental Association has advised us to wait until all the provincial dental associations can negotiate a better plan for patients nationwide. Specifically, have the plan cover a large range of procedures and have these procedures paid at fees more in line with the BC dental fee guide. As you may know, there is an election this October 2024, and the federal government has rushed through a plan that has not been well thought out. Patients nationwide have been given the impression that 100 % of the fees will be covered, but unfortunately, this is not true. How this current Canadian Dental plan is designed, only 50%-80% of the provincial fee guide will be covered. Thus, the patient is left to pay the remaining portion out of pocket, based on their level of income. Hence, dental associations across the country are making a coordinated effort to negotiate comprehensive coverage for their patients.

Today, our Christmas shoe boxes were picked up by Metro Kids Society. Thank you to our patients and staff who generously filled boxes to give back to our community this season.

Also, Olive says Merry Christmas and is thankful for the cards and gifts she received this year from her favourite patients.🎄🎁

Give Back This Season!🎄 Riverside Heights Dental is passionate about serving our community. If you are interested in helping some families in need this Christmas season, please consider picking up a box, filling it up with suggested items and returning it to the office by December 18th! We will add some toothbrushes, floss and toothpaste and get it to a family in need before Christmas Eve!

Did you know that August 22 is national tooth fairy day? Our office wants to celebrate this special day by discussing children's oral health. This event will run from 3:30-4:30 pm on August 22 and is sign-up only. You don't have to be a patient of the office; head to our website www.riversideheightsdental.com to sign-up. Kids between the ages of 3-8 can meet some of our staff, tour the office, do a fun craft, and meet our office dog, Olive!
