We are thrilled to announce that Brittney Aldrich, RDH is now offering Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy right here in Sundre!

So, what is Myofunctional Therapy?

It is a specialized therapy that focuses on improving the function of the muscles of the face, mouth, tongue, and airway. Healthy oral muscle function plays an important role in breathing, swallowing, chewing, speech, sleep, facial development, and long-term oral health.

Myofunctional therapy can help address concerns such as:
👃 Mouth breathing
👅 Improper tongue posture or tongue thrust
🦷 Swallowing difficulties
🥕 Inefficient chewing patterns

Born and raised in Sundre, Brittney is passionate about providing comprehensive care to the community she calls home. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta, she completed advanced training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and is currently working toward becoming a Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM).
