Due for a filling but haven't gotten around to it yet? It happens, but it's important to understand what can happen when a small cavity gets put off.

Small cavities don't stay small. Here's what that progression usually looks like:

• Small cavity → quick filling, one visit
• Decay spreads deeper → crown or larger restoration needed
• Infection sets in → root canal before the tooth can be restored
• Too far gone → extraction, and now you're replacing a tooth

Nervous about oral surgery? You're not alone, but we can help!

A lot of people put off procedures they actually need because the idea of being in that chair feels like too much. We get it, and we want you to know there are options.

Nitrous oxide is a light sedation that kicks in quickly, keeps you relaxed throughout, and wears off fast enough that you can drive yourself home after. For something more involved, IV sedation is available too. You'll be completely at ease and most patients don't remember much of the procedure at all.

The most important thing is that nothing gets decided without a real conversation first. We talk through your options, your comfort level, and your medical history before anything happens.

Your oral health is important. If something has been on the back burner because the idea of it felt like too much, give us a call. We'll figure out the right approach together 😊

Everything you need to know about gum health 👇

A lot of people brush off their gum health. A little bleeding, a bit of puffiness, some sensitivity around the gum line. It doesn't hurt that much so it probably isn't a big deal, right?

Actually, bleeding gums are one of the earliest signs of gum disease. Here's what to watch for:

•Bleeding when you brush or floss
• Puffy, tender, or swollen gums
• Gums that look like they are pulling away from your teeth
• Persistent bad breath that doesn't go away
• Loose or shifting teeth

Gum disease is a lot more common than most people realize and easy to dismiss when it doesn't feel serious. But left untreated it can progress to a point where the tissue and bone supporting your teeth start to be affected, leading to tooth loss and other health concerns down the line.

When caught early, gum disease is very manageable. A professional cleaning, some adjustments to your home care routine, and consistent follow up visits can make a significant difference before things go any further.
