Leaving Hopedale today with a heart full of gratitude. ❤️

This trip came with a surprise travel companion that I definitely didn’t invite — influenza. 🤧 Thankfully, the kindness of this community far outweighed the flu.

A special thank you to Hilda for taking such good care of me when I wasn’t feeling my best. Your kindness, support, and friendship meant more than you know.

Every time I travel to these beautiful communities, I leave with so much more than I arrived with. More appreciation, more memories, more connection, and a deeper reminder of how fortunate I am to do what I do.

Now it’s time to head to Makkovik — a new community, new experiences, and another adventure I’m excited to embrace.

Thank you, Hopedale, for the memories (and influenza... though I could have done without that part 😅). Until next time. ❤️

This experience has been so much more than dentistry — it’s been connection, perspective, and a reminder of what truly matters.

Serving in remote Labrador communities has a way of grounding you… showing you a different pace of life and the importance of simply being present.

Grateful for every person I met, every story shared, and the trust placed in me.

Being here in Labrador,
serving remote communities,
has shown me a different way of living —
one that’s real, grounded, and deeply humbling.

We are so privileged… and we forget that.
