Thinking about switching dentists or looking for one for the first time? Here are 5 things worth considering before you book.
1. Can they take care of your whole family?
Look for an office that can accommodate kids, teens, and adults so you're not juggling multiple clinics. Bonus if they offer ortho, implants, crowns, and everything in between.
2. Do you feel comfortable asking questions?
A good dental team should explain treatment clearly, walk you through your options, and never make you feel rushed or judged.
3. Can you actually get an appointment when you need one?
Check their hours, how far ahead they're booking, and what happens if you have a dental emergency.
4. Do they help you understand costs and insurance?
You should know what to expect before treatment begins - estimates, insurance coordination, and payment options should all be part of the conversation.
5. Does the office feel like a good fit?
Reviews matter, but so does the feeling you get from the team. Are they welcoming? Do they communicate well? Would you feel comfortable bringing your whole family there?
