Update: We are closed for the remainder of the week due to damage from the roof fire yesterday. We still do not have any power to the building and are doing our best to notify patients. Please be patient with us as we continue to assess the damage and begin the clean up. We are hoping to be operational next week but will keep you informed.

Where there's smoke, there's fire, you just have to find it!
Just before 10am this morning crews were called to the shopping plaza at 204 First Ave. for smell of smoke in several of the units. The plaza which includes Shopper's Drug Mart was evacuated and the fire was discovered in the roof at the East end of the building. It appears hot work was being done yesterday on the roof, and resulted in a smoldering fire in the roof. Fire damage was minimal, but all businesses in the plaza suffered some degree of smoke damage, and a few sustained water damage as a result. No one was injured, hydro and gas have been shut off to the plaza.
