Its been awhile! Time has absolutely flown by between teaching courses and working at the college, the last few months have vanished!

Today I was the student and spent the day recertifying as a First Aid & CPR instructor. Every three years, I ensure my skills are current, review the latest protocols, and renew my qualifications.

One more course to go- BLS (First Responder CPR) instructor recertification!

I look forward to getting back to my regular updates! 😊

Yesterday I taught a First Aid course for the team at Eastmount Family Dentistry in Hamilton.

Dr. Losonci is the first Dentist I ever worked for 26 years ago & he will always hold a special place in my heart! ❤️🦷

Happy 2026!

I haven't posted in a few weeks, but I've been busy running courses, working full time, and spending time with my family & friends.

My first post for 2026, is close to my heart. While cleaning out some of my Grandmother's things, I found a Canadian Red Cross manual from 1951. The best part about this manual, is reading her hand written notes in the back of the book. ❤️

I decided to frame this book, and hang it in my office!

Vacation day find! 🍫

The summer went by so fast! I decided to take a couple of vacation days & my husband and I enjoyed Niagara-on-the-lake and some local wineries. We have the luxury of being 15 minutes away from some beautiful vineyards! 🍇

We stopped by a candy store, and this box of chocolate jumped out at me! This is the best medicine, in my opinion! (Along with wine, of course!) 🍷

Road trip to North York (Toronto) today to teach CPR & BLS courses in dental offices! 🛤🚙🦷

I had a great assistant today. My oldest daughter Gracie joined me for the road trip! This is one of the best parts of working for myself (at one of my jobs) having the flexibility to spend quality time with family while doing what I love! 🥰

A PROUD & HAPPY POST: 😊🚑

A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege of teaching an Emergency First Aid & CPR course to a new client; Ridgeway-Crystal Beach Kin Club.

I received a wonderful message from the event manager of the Kin club, thanking me for giving him the skills required for a First Aid situation. A couple of weeks after he attended my course, he witnessed an emergency situation (while shopping) & he was able to take over and help this customer.

I received a thank you email and a full description of the First Aid steps used in this situation. I LOVED reading this email and was proud that he utilized the skills taught in class!

I'm so grateful that this story was shared with me, and it makes me so happy to know that he was prepared and able to respond.
