Dr. Wu’s animated introduction of what dental implants look like.
Dental implants have been one of the most predictable, comfortable and long-lasting treatment options for replacing missing teeth. In conjunction with 3D cone beam CT scan, digital surgical planning, and skillful placement technique, dental implants can be placed with higher precision and drastically lesser discomfort than before.

Other alternatives for replacing missing teeth include:
1. Conventional bridges, which require sacrificing a lot of healthy tooth structure on the neighbouring teeth in order to function as support. This treatment method has been done for over 100 years, it has a long history of success, but there are limitations and disadvantages to dental bridges.

2. Removable dentures, which is a more economical consideration but comes with many disadvantages such as inconvenience and discomfort wearing dentures. We usually consider dentures as the last resort of treatment, when other replacement methods are impractical. Interesting to note that dentures have been around since the era of George Washington, whose dentures were made and are still on display at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, USA.

Our sister office in Vancouver, Little Mountain Dental Centre, has moved into a beautiful and spacious office space. Dr. Patrick Wu and his team of designer, architect and engineers have created another unique dental office that doesn’t look or feel like a dental office! Just like our Richmond office, the new Vancouver office environment is calming and relaxing; playing soft music in the background blending with coffee aroma in the air. The new office rather looks like a bookstore or a coffee shop.

Taking advantage of the beautiful spring weather, we celebrated the grand opening of our new office last Sunday. It’s a blessing to have many friends and colleagues came to celebrate with us.

Since our first day on January 31, we have received countless gifts such as flower arrangements, children’s books, decors, and edibles. Our big bookshelves are now filled with wonderful books suitable for a wide range of ages. Most of these books were generously gifted by you, our friends. We will be forever grateful of the friendship and blessings.

Our team is committed to continue elevating our skills and services to better care for our patients.

Dear friends,
We have moved into our new office and are ready to continue serving your dental needs.
Our new address is 120-5508 Hollybridge Way, Richmond, BC. We are right across the street from Oval T&T Supermarket and diagonally across from Richmond Olympic Oval Stadium.

Our office may not look like any typical dental or medical office, because we understand the importance of having a comfortable, calm, and spacious resting place prior to your treatment or while waiting for your loved ones to be seen. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, pick a book from the bookshelf, and enjoy the soft music that fills the air.

In the spacious patient treatment area, you will find all the advanced technology and seven fully equipped operatories to allow our clinicians to diagnose faster and treat cases more precisely. This translates to greater patient comfort and treatment success.

We are Friendly Dental Centre, where patients are treated like friends and family.
