Our amazing patient had been living with this progressively darkening tooth for years.

She decided it was time to do something about it and we had her covered.

After discussing all options we kept things simple:
root canal to keep everything healthy, and then internal bleaching to whiten the tooth from the inside out. Same natural tooth, no restoration, and a happy patient.

In case you didn’t know… Aubrey, our amazing receptionist, who has worked with us for 11 years, is going on maternity leave. Today is her last day. She will be greatly missed, but we are all excited to meet her new baby. Any guesses on what she is having?

It’s important to change your toothbrush regularly because over time the bristles will start to fray and wear out, making it less effective at removing plaque from your teeth and gums. Also, the longer you use your toothbrush, the more bacteria it will accumulate.

Happy brushing! 🦷 🪥

Grinding your teeth, also known as bruxism, can cause a variety of problems, including:

*Grinding can wear down the enamel on your teeth, making them more prone to decay, cracks, and other damage.

*Clenching and grinding can lead to muscle tension and pain in the jaw, face, and neck, and can cause headaches.

*Grinding your teeth can cause problems with your jaw joint, leading to pain, clicking, or popping sounds when you open and close your mouth.

*Bruxism can disturb your sleep and the sleep of those around you.

*The pressure from grinding can cause the gums to recede, exposing the roots of the teeth and increasing the risk of tooth sensitivity and decay.

If you are clenching or grinding your teeth, talk to your dental professional about what you can do to protect your teeth and gums. 🪥
