Yonge & 7 Dental Care is pleased to introduce our newest associate, Dr. Shilpa Jaitly!

Dr. Shilpa Jaitly graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 2013. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and when it comes to patient care, she takes pride in thoroughly explaining the treatment options and ensuring that all the patients’ questions are answered. During treatment, she provides a gentle and caring touch which helps to ensure a positive dental experience especially for children and those that are anxious. She is also certified in Invisalign and Oral and Nitrous Oxide Sedation.

In her spare time, Dr. Jaitly enjoys cooking and baking, going on hikes, and traveling.

Yonge & 7 Dental Care is pleased to announce that Dr. Sari Kichler has joined our team!

Dr. Kichler graduated with honours from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2014. She received her Bachelors of Science from Dalhousie University and Masters of Science from the University of Western Ontario.

Dr. Kichler enjoys all aspects of dentistry and works with her patients to meet their needs and improve their dental health. She provides exceptional care to patients of all ages in a comfortable and friendly environment. She likes nothing more than seeing her patients come and leave the office with a big smile.

Dr. Kichler is a certified Invisalign provider, an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. When she’s not working, Dr. Kichler enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling, staying active and playing with her puppy.

We are happy to let you know that we are re-opening this week. We are excited to see everyone and will be contacting you in the next few days.

Pina will be available to take your phone calls and book and reschedule your appointments beginning tomorrow, June 2.

Here are a few changes to our office protocol when you return.

1. Please reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well or have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or if anyone in your household has been sick in the past two weeks

2. Please wear a mask and use our hand sanitizer when you enter and leave our office.

3. We will measure your temperature with our touchless thermometer. If your temperature is 37.9 degrees or higher, we will ask you to reschedule.

4. You will be required to fill out some screening questions relating to COVID-19

5. We are limiting the number of people allowed into our waiting room to ensure social distancing. Please arrive no more than five minutes before your scheduled appointment to minimize the amount of time in our waiting room.

6. Individuals accompanying a patient are required to wait outside the office unless absolutely necessary (e.g., a parent accompanying a young child or a patient who requires accommodation).

7. We have removed all reading material and magazines from our waiting room

8. Our staff will be constantly disinfecting all common areas including door handles, chairs, bathrooms, light switches, counters, etc.

9. We will be installing touchless faucets and soap dispensers in the bathroom.

10. We have installed the plexiglass sneeze and cough guards at our front desk.

11. We are booking extra time between appointments to allow for more time for cleaning and disinfection of the operatories.
