A THANK YOU MESSAGE FROM DR. ROUBLE 🦷

“I would like to say thank you to all the kind people who sent comments to the Rouble Glover Dentistry’s page concerning my recent retirement.

It was really humbling and touching to read through them. It is hard to realize that after all these years, I won’t be seeing you professionally any longer, but at least I will bump into many of you as we go about small town life.

When I graduated from Dental school, many of my classmates thought I was crazy to be going back to my hometown to practice, but after 55 years, I have no regrets with my decision.

Over the years I have gotten to know many generations of families and I loved to go into work each day and catch up on what everyone has been up to since the last time we connected. They say that a job is not work if you enjoy what you are doing, and I can honestly say I enjoyed my career.

I especially would like to thank all the members of the Dental teams I have worked alongside over the years, especially the ladies who worked with me for 40+ years each, the “old gang” as we fondly called ourselves. They are the reason that I was able to continue on and they are so responsible for the level of care that I was able to deliver. They made me look good as the saying goes.

I also want to say thanks to my late wife Gerri who looked after the business side of the office for so many years and to my family, who never begrudged the after hours emergency calls or the long hours in clinic. They knew it was all part of caring for our patients.

Life goes on and seasons change and I hope to see many of you out and about as I try to settle into this new phase in my life.

Happy Retirement Dr Rouble!! 🥂 🎉

Dr. Rouble devoted an incredible 55½ years to caring for the smiles of Renfrew and the surrounding communities.

Through generations of patients, he built more than a practice—he built trust, comfort, and lasting relationships grounded in kindness and dedication.

His steady presence, gentle care, and commitment to excellence will be deeply missed by both his beloved patients and the many staff members who were proud to work alongside him.

As he closes this remarkable chapter, we wish Dr. Rouble every happiness, good health, and joy in a truly well-deserved retirement.
