Flossing always gets a bad rap. It literally takes 2 minutes of your day, and can make such a difference to your health (and pocket book!). If your gums bleed, or you have tenderness in your mouth, it is often because of a lack of flossing. Don't let the plaque and bacteria win - you can do this! Maybe a water flosser would help if you don't like traditional floss. There are so many variations. Find one that suits you and commit to improving your health!

Well, all good things must come to an end. Today is Miheret's last day with us, as she heads back to school next week! She has been a dental assistant in our office for the past 2 years, bringing so much laughter and joy to our office. We will certainly miss her, and wish her all the best in her new adventures!

Today was training today with our new intra oral scanner. For people who cannot tolerate having impressions taken of their teeth, this is hopefully going to be a game changer! We hope the learning curve is not going to be too steep, but we're excited to get going with it. The scanner can be used for crown and bridge work, as well creating nightguards, sports guards, and whitening trays.

We're growing!! As we continue to expand our services, now adding in a dental therapist along with our team of three hygienists and two dentists, we need to add a reception position. Ideally this person has dental experience as well as reception experience, but we are happy to meet with you to see if you are a fit for our office. After this young person had his tongue tie released, his first response was, "I'm a new man!" That may win for our funniest post-op feedback! It's great to have patients leave on a positive note (before the freezing comes out....). If you think a tongue tie is getting in your way, meet with Dr Dodds to discuss possible options.
