Our goal as a dental team is to provide our patients with the awareness and skills to attain and maintain optimal individual oral health. It is our purpose as a team of professionals to provide optimal care to our patients with the most up-to-date facility we can provide them with. We have four dentists practicing in our office, Dr.Amanda Lacerda, Dr. Brad Asay, Dr.Andrew Tkachuk, and Dr.Avie Pere
l-Panar. Dr. Amanda Lacerda was born in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and raised in Victoria, British Columbia. Dr. Lacerda graduated from the University of Victoria (Victoria, BC) with a bachelor’s degree in science and University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC) in 2015, with a doctor of dental medicine degree. Dr. Lacerda has been working in Prince George since her graduation from dental school and became a partner and co-owner at Southridge Dental in 2019. She has also been a member of two world class continuing education programs: Spear Study Club with mentor Dr. Heiner Tillmanns and R.V. In these clubs, Dr. Lacerda meets with other highly respected dentists from Prince George to discuss and perform the highest standard in treatment planning and dental restorative techniques. Dr. Lacerda is also a trained and certified BOTOX provider for jaw pain and esthetic treatment of the upper face. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lacerda enjoys hiking, cooking, travelling, and spending time with her two fur children. Dr. Asay graduated from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC) with a doctor of dental medicine degree in 2015. He was born and raised in Prince George, graduating from College Heights Secondary School. Dr. Asay is thrilled to be back home to live and practice in the city he loves. Dr. Asay is also a member of two world class continuing education programs: Spear Study Club with mentor Dr. Heiner Tillmanns and R.V. Dr. Asay is also trained in orthodontics and enjoys creating the most functional and esthetic results that create a smile that preserves his patients teeth for their lifetimes. When not working, Dr. Asay enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Amanda, visiting old friends, hiking familiar trails, camping, baseball and hockey. He welcomes all old and new friends to see him at Southridge Dental Centre as he plans on spending many years treating the dental needs in the Prince George community. Dr. Amanda Lacerda and Dr. Brad Asay are married, who graduated from UBC dentistry the same year. Together they own and operate Southridge Dental Clinic. Dr. Asay was raised in Prince George, so when a work opportunity came up, Dr. A and Dr. L decided to take the opportunity to be close to family. Since before graduating dental school, Dr. L and Dr. A have enjoyed a mentor/mentee relationship with the previous owner of Southridge Dental, Dr. Drew Tkachuk, who still practices dentistry at Southridge Dental as an associate dentist.
