I had a wonderful experience with my families new dental hygienist Nancy. From the moment I entered her office she made me feel completely at ease with her warm and friendly approach. She was very gentle yet thorough during the cleaning, taking the time to explain what was going on. I especially appreciated her attention to detail and genuine care for my comfort throughout the appointment (the heated massage chair was a huge hit). April is National Dental Health Month 😁

Wrapping up our Dental Health Month celebration campaign we have a handy infographic on how to floss and brush the right way in 4 easy steps. And yes, there is a right and wrong way to do this!

- Floss BEFORE you brush
- Use whatever tool works: fingers, flosser stick, etc
- Wrap/push the floss tightly against the tooth & scape upward 👉 not just a straight up and down
- Angle a soft brush at 30-45 degrees and sweep in a circular motion along gums, scrub biting surfaces a bit harder

The Canadian Dental Care Plan - Do You Qualify?

As part of our National Dental Health month campaign, we're reminding you about the benefits offered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).

The CDCP is a federal government program intended to reduce financial barriers to oral health care for Canadians without a dental plan. The program provides a dental care subsidy for Canadian residents who do not have dental benefits and have an adjusted household income of less than $90,000 a year.
