🌸 Baby mode: activated! 🌸

Katrina is officially on maternity leave! 💕👶🏼

But don’t worry, we’ve still got smiles covered this summer! 🦷✨

🚐 The Vancouver island van will continue serving the Comox Valley, Campbell River and Black creek area.

☀️ AND good news! Our second van will be heading over to the island with a limited summer schedule. Charissa and Stephanie will be covering the Parksville & Qualicum area while Katrina is away. Once their schedule is full for the Oceanside area, there is the option to meet Hayley in Courtenay to keep up with your dental hygiene needs. 😁🚐🤍

Katrina plans to be back in the late fall, early winter, refreshed and ready to roll again!

Thank you so much for all the support, patience, and love during this exciting season for our family. We can’t wait to see everyone soon! 🤍

What to expect at your first appointment with us! 🚐🦷😊

We follow the 2024 BC Dental Hygiene fee guide. Nanaimo to Black Creek no fee for the mobile service. More remote locations such as Quadra Island and Gold River please contact for for information.

The first appointment requires a complete dental hygiene exam with the possibility of X-rays. This includes a detailed medical history, diagnosing any gum disease, checking your gums and bone levels, and doing an oral cancer screening. This allows us to individualize care plans for future dental hygiene appointments. At your initial appointment we will then give you our recommendations for your dental hygiene intervals based on your exam results. These future appointments would be your recommended scaling and polish maintenance appointments. I have listed the prices per code according to the dental hygiene fee guide below, please let me know if you have any questions. We direct bill to primary insurances and we are ethically not able to offer any discounts based on whether you have insurance coverage or not.

Complete dental hygiene exam: $119.65 (First appointment for new patients only)
4 bitewing x-rays: $47.45
3-4 units of scaling: $170.45-$227.35
* scaling units is based on the average adult usually needing 3-4 units, this may be more or less depending on number of teeth and how long since your last appointment
Polish: $45.15
Fluoride Varnish: $23.30

Thank you!

We are excited to introduce our newest member of the team, Hayley!

Hayley is a Registered Dental Hygienist with 8 years experience. She graduated in 2015 from Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia. Prior to this, she achieved her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Victoria. Since graduating, she has moved to Campbell River and has worked in private practice settings but is eager to switch gears and provide patient care that comes directly to you! Having grown up in a rural island community she is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and oral hygiene education to these populations. She currently lives in Oyster River with her husband Jake, her son Van and their blue heeler Kane. In her free time she enjoys being outside in the forest, painting and playing on her ice hockey team.

Hayley will be seeing patients in her home town of Black creek and surrounding areas including Quadra Island, Campbell River, Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland and select days in Gold river. If you are interested in booking an appointment or looking for more information please feel free to contact us 🦷🚐😊
