The start of a new school year means new routines for little ones. Here are a few simple ways to keep healthy smiles part of the day:

🍎 Pack crunchy fruits, veggies and cheese for easy, smile-friendly snacks.

💧 Send a water bottle to school and make water the go-to drink throughout the day.

If your Canadian Dental Care Plan coverage lapsed because you didn't renew by the June 1 deadline, you're not out of options, but there's something important to know first.

✅ You can submit a brand new application for the current benefit year
✅ Missing the renewal window can mean a pause in coverage until your new application is approved
✅ Any care received during that gap won't be covered retroactively, so it's worth applying as soon as possible
✅ New patients are always welcome at our Clyde and Merivale location

It is National Tooth Fairy Day! There’s nothing quite like the excitement of losing a tooth and tucking it under your pillow for a very special overnight visitor!

But before the Tooth Fairy makes her rounds, she has a few requests:

🪥 Brush twice a day
🧵 Don’t forget to floss
💧 Drink plenty of water
🍭 Keep sugary treats to a minimum

We’ve all been tempted to use our teeth for something they weren’t designed to do. Opening a package, tearing off a tag, cracking something hard or holding something when our hands are full.

The problem? One quick shortcut can lead to a chipped or cracked tooth.

📦 Use scissors to open packages
🧊 Don’t chew on ice
✏️ Avoid biting pens or pencils
🍿 Be careful with popcorn kernels and other very hard foods
