Honoured and very humbled to have been invited by the Korean Embassy in Canada to their 2026 event! Special thanks go out to Senator Yonah Martin for all of her work in promoting the Korean community in Canada - particularly her initiative in having the Canadian government formally declare October !!! Thank you also to Consul-General Hyun Woo Lim for arranging my invitation to the event! Thank you also to Shelby Kramp-Neuman MP and Mona Fortier - House MPs who have tirelessly supported the Korean community during their terms as Canadian parliamentarians (Merci bien to Minister Mélanie Joly for attending the event last night as well!). Also a big heartfelt thank you to all surviving Korean War Veterans - without your sacrifice and service, the Republic of Korea would not exist today. Finally want to say 감사합니다 to Major Inseob Won and his wife Sosun Sug for ALL of their efforts in promoting the Korean community in Canada! Happy Korean National Foundation Day #개천절🇰🇷 🇰🇷🇨🇦🥌🦷🪥
