Katie was out delivering posters her upcoming film night here at
Katie joined us for her cooperative education class earlier this year, looking to learn more about the event planning business. What better education than for her to plan and execute her own event!
Katie is passionate about film and asked if she could do a film night, and of course we said YES!!! She has been extremely busy from selecting the films, choosing a charity and communicating with the National Film board to planning the marketing and night of details. We can’t wait to share more about her amazing project with you!
Join us on June 19th for Lights, Camera, Pride! Katie has selected 10 short films that showcase Canadian q***r voices and stories. All proceeds from this pay-what-you-can event will be going towards Mariposa Arts Theatre for next year's youth element of their annual Q***r Cabaret.
