Stop brushing your teeth so hard! 🛑🦷

Think scrubbing harder means a cleaner smile? Think again. Aggressive brushing and using hard bristles can actually wear down your enamel and cause gum recession over time.

Here is what you need to know:

Technique over pressure: Let the bristles do the work with gentle, circular motions.

Timing matters: If you just finished breakfast, coffee, or something acidic, wait 30–60 minutes before brushing so you don’t push acid into softened enamel.

Upgrade your tool: Switch to a soft-bristled brush or let an electric toothbrush control the pressure for you.
