We prefer a comprehensive approach when managing tongue ties. Just because there is a tongue tie or lip tie does not mean it needs to be released! More conservative management such as bodywork should be done prior and post for best outcomes.

And no that does not mean every baby needs a tongue release! Having gone through infant feeding challenges herself, she has helped many families in infant feeding including Dr. Laura and Yili.

I treat every kid the way I would treat my own. And that includes taking x-rays when their back teeth starts touching. All kids are at risk of cavities even dentists’ kids.
