Yesterday was a little bittersweet.
We put on our nice dresses, raised our glasses, and made the evening all about celebrating our dear Vicki. 🥂✨
Vicki has been part of Dentistry on Dunn for over 20 years. TWENTY! And if you know Vicki, you know just how much she has meant to all of us — and to so many of our patients.
We knew this day was coming, as Vicki announced her retirement earlier this year, but somehow… saying goodbye still feels a little surreal.
Over the past few weeks, so many patients have stopped by to drop off cards, gifts, hugs and their own goodbyes for Vicki. And honestly, that was one of the most beautiful reminders of what makes this place so special.
Because sometimes, you don’t come to your cleaning appointment just for the cleaning.
You come for the conversation.
For the familiar face.
For the laughs.
For someone who has known you and your family for years.
For that little bit of connection that makes an ordinary appointment feel like so much more.
And Vicki has created so many of those connections. ❤️
So yesterday, we celebrated her properly — with a beautiful dinner, delicious drinks, LOTS of laughs, a few tears, and plenty of stories. After 20+ years, there are A LOT of those!
Life really is made up of chapters, isn’t it?
Some endings are sad. Some beginnings are exciting. And sometimes they are both at the same time.
As much as we’re sad to see Vicki leave Dentistry on Dunn, we are SO excited for her and this next chapter. She has given so much of herself to this office, our team, and our patients, and we are incredibly grateful.
Vicki, we love you, we appreciate you, and we will miss you more than you know. ❤️
Thank you for 20+ years of smiles, stories, laughter, friendship and care.
Now go enjoy that retirement, girl! You’ve more than earned it. 🥂✨
With so much love,
Your Dentistry on Dunn family 🫶🏻
💞 A big thank you to Buca Di Bacco Oakville in Oakville for having us and helping us make the evening so special.
