Today we're introducing Nancy, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists!

Nancy's journey in dentistry began at Canadore College, where she completed several programs, including the Bilingual Dental Assisting Program. She later moved to Ottawa to pursue her goal of becoming a Dental Hygienist, graduating from the French-language Dental Hygiene program at La Cité collégiale.

Since beginning her dental hygiene career in 1996, Nancy has been dedicated to providing exceptional patient care with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. She joined the Northern Lakes Dental team in November 2024 and has quickly become a valued member of our practice.

Nancy is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles while creating a comfortable and positive dental experience for everyone she meets.

Meet Joanne, our Certified Dental Assistant. Joanne was born and raised in North Bay and began her dental career after graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Algonquin College in 1993. She continued her education at Canadore College, earning her Dental Assisting Level II certification.

With over 25 years of experience, Joanne brings compassion, kindness, and enthusiasm to every patient interaction. She is a valued part of our team and truly cares about making each visit a positive experience.

Outside of the office, Joanne enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and her daughters Olivia and Paige, who are her pride and joy.
