Team Spotlight: Meet Anika! 🦷✨

Say hello to Anika Hamid, one of our fabulous Registered Dental Hygienists here at Pinewood Dental Care! 😁

Anika graduated from Niagara College back in 2011, and before stepping into her RDH role, she actually got her start as a dental assistant — so she's seen this whole operation from every angle! Talk about range. 👏

At Pinewood, Anika's top priority is always her patients' care and comfort. She loves teaming up with her fellow dental pros, all working toward one goal: giving every patient the high-quality care they deserve. And with her positive attitude and fun sense of humor, she makes sure your visit is (dare we say) actually enjoyable!

Fun fact: Anika is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, so don't be shy if you'd like to chat in any of those languages. 🗣️

Outside the office, Anika is a devoted daughter, aunt, and friend who loves spending quality time with family, exploring new restaurants (total foodie 🍜), and enjoying a good movie marathon (bonus points if you have recs)!

With over 30 years of customer service experience, Janet has a gift for making people feel welcome, heard, and supported. She loves building genuine connections, and her warmth shines through in every conversation. 💛

Outside the office, Janet loves spending time with her three boys and three grandchildren. She also enjoys gardening and quilting—bringing patience and creativity to everything she does! 🌱🧵

Yes… we’re taking an extra-long Thanksgiving weekend! 😄🧡

Pinewood Dental Care will be:

Four days off? We like to really sink our teeth into a long weekend! 😂🦷
