Don't have dental insurance? Starting this month ages 18-64 the federal dental plan CDCP starts rolling out, this is going to be a huge help for anyone who hasn't had access to dental coverage for themselves it requires your 2024 taxes please visit the website and apply on line and then give us a call 😊

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) will help cover some of the cost of various oral health care services for eligible Canadian residents.

Did you know that Dentists in Alberta set their prices according to the provincial government's fee guide, which is online for anyone to access costs.
What does this mean to you?
Most insurance companies have their own set of fees they will pay out. So 100 % covered only means 100% of what your insurance covers, not what the provincial fee guide pays.
As the CDCP rolls out their second phase for children under 18 (income based) it can be confusing for parents who may have given up their child's Alberta Child benefits to have this plan, in Alberta the income based child benefits WERE 100% covered. The CDCP is not, leaving you with a small balance owing at the end of your child's visit. If you have any questions please give our office a call.
